What a weekend!
Our Barn was buzzing once again for our latest Patch to Plate Community Dinner. Guests gathered around the table for a hearty meal of homemade meatballs and spaghetti, followed by apple strudel (Swiss style, of course!).
Once we conquered the mountain of dishes, we could all agree – it was another beautiful evening of connection, good food, and community spirit.
We’re excited to announce our next dinner is already in the diary: Saturday, August 16. Be sure to book your spot early – they go quickly!
Self-Sufficiency Course – Bookings Now Open
Our popular 6-module Becoming More Self-Sufficient course is returning this August!
We’re offering two locations this year:
• Warrnambool
• Here at the Barn
Both courses begin the third weekend of August. For details and bookings, visit our webpage or contact us directly. Spots are limited, and with the interest already rolling in, we suggest booking soon to avoid missing out.
Home Education – Real Life Learning
It’s back to school in our household too.
As a homeschooling family, we’ve reopened the books and are turning pages once more – maths, English, history, science… the usual suspects.
But our real education goes far beyond the textbooks.
Business, budgeting, cooking, gardening, teamwork, and physical effort – our kids are right in the thick of it.
Honestly, they’re smashing out jobs at a level that sometimes takes me by surprise.
I think the table is slowly turning… and I might just be surrounded by three new Managers!
Barn Open Tomorrow – Saturday, 11–5
The fire will be going, the coffee hot, and the food fresh from the patch.
Come join us at the Barn – a warm spot on a cool winter’s day.
On the menu:
• Coffee & Cake
• Gnocchi with a Hearty Beef Ragu
• Minestrone Soup & Bread
See you there
