Back from the high country

We’re back from a much-needed break, feeling refreshed and grateful after our time in Bonnie Doon, the high country, and its beautiful surroundings.

A true highlight for our family—and just what we needed before heading into the cooler months.

This week wasn’t so much about catching up as it was about continuing where we left off. We’ve planted our last round of winter veggies (yes, really—no more planting updates until spring!).

Irrigation lines have been pulled in, and next on the list is laying down mulch.

The garlic is coming along beautifully, and I find myself watching it with great anticipation. Just a little waiting game now until Christmas to see how it all turns out.

We also had a lovely visit from a small group from Cooinda Terang, who enjoyed a wander through the patch followed by a hearty lunch in the barn. Always a pleasure to share our space and produce.
