This week we’ve been out in the garden, making the most of the winter sun when it peeks through.
There’s been plenty of pruning – from the roses to the fruit trees – keeping things in shape for the seasons ahead.
We’ve also been spreading compost and laying mulch, the kind of quiet, satisfying work that keeps the patch humming along.
Tuesday brought another round of our Winter School Holiday Program.
We had a lovely group of kids (and their grown-ups) join us for an afternoon of crafting, storytelling and connection.
These sessions are always a highlight for us, and we’re grateful to share them with families in the community.
Wednesdays are busy behind the scenes too – it’s veggie box day for our Camperdown deliveries. Harvesting, packing, and sending off goodness from our garden to yours.
We’re also gearing up for this weekend’s Patch to Plate Dinner – meatballs, homemade spaghetti, and a hearty dessert are on the menu. The kitchen’s been full of action, and we’re excited to welcome our guests.
A few spots are still available if you’re quick!
Our “Becoming More Self Sufficient” course is back too – a six-module journey into practical, seasonal living. Head to the webpage for more info or reach out to book your place directly.
The Barn is open Saturday from 11–5
We’re serving:
Coffee & Cake
Homemade Spaghetti and Meatballs
Minestrone Soup & Bread
See you at the barn!
