This week gifted us with nearly perfect weather—just what we needed to keep everything ticking along smoothly!
Last Saturday marked a bittersweet milestone for us as we attended our final Terang market.
For nearly six years (with a brief pause during global disruptions), the market has been a cornerstone of our journey, offering support and connections as we grew our business. Now, with the increasing opportunities and demands of our open hours at the Barn, it’s time to shift our focus closer to home.
It’s surreal to step away from something that has been such a vital part of our story, but we’re also excited about this new chapter.
In the patch, veggies are thriving, and we’re delighted to announce that the first zucchinis are ready and available in the Barn.
A few more trays have been planted to ensure a steady supply throughout the season.
On the dairy side, we shared a job opening earlier this week, and within 24 hours, we had it filled! It’s a huge relief and a testament to the strength of the local community.
Fridays are always a flurry of activity as we bake and cook for the weekend.
Keep an eye out for new treats and the return of seasonal favourites.
If all goes to plan, we’ll be offering mixed Christmas cookie boxes—available at the Barn, as a pop-up on social media, or by order.
We’re also thrilled to continue offering premium beef from Old Township Farm in Panmure.
Stephen and Kate are passionate about regenerative farming, and their care for the land, animals, and process shines through in the quality of their meat. Their beef is now fully stocked in our freezer at the Barn.
