This week brought a much-needed and very welcome break from homeschooling.
It was such a treat to move through the days without the usual teaching schedule — just doing things at our own pace.
On Tuesday, we hosted our Winter School Holiday Program.
A lovely group of kids and their parents joined us for a morning filled with winter crafts, a cosy story, and a spicy seasonal morning tea.
We’re doing it all again next week — Tuesday 15th July, 2–4pm — so if you’d like to join us, book your spot via text message. All ages welcome, with age-appropriate crafts.
Our “Becoming More Self-Sufficient” 6-module course is back!
This hands-on series is designed to equip and inspire, and we’re now taking bookings for the next intake. Check out the details on our website and book directly through me.
Also just around the corner: our next Patch to Plate Community Dinner, happening on Saturday 19th July from 6pm onwards. We’re serving up:
Meatballs with homemade pasta and a rich tomato sauce and a salad buffet.
Traditional Swiss-style apple strudel with vanilla custard
Join us for a warm and welcoming evening — book your tickets now, spots are limited!
Barn Open Tomorrow, 11–5
We’re serving:
Coffee and cake
Pumpkin, spinach & ricotta lasagna with a side salad (GF option available)
Minestrone Soup & Bread
See you at the Barn!
