Last Saturday marked our third Patch to Plate gathering.
The atmosphere was filled with all things community, and having new people join us each time makes these evenings extra special.
Our next dinner is set for Saturday 13 September, supported by Look Over the Farm Gate. Tickets are just $20.
On the menu: creamy carrot & apricot beef strips served with mash or Spätzle, a seasonal salad buffet, and sticky date pudding for dessert.
Book your tickets early so you don’t miss out!
This week we also planted two hedges — something that’s been on the to-do list for a while.
The shrubs and trees have been growing on for the last 12 months, and the hedge rows were prepared some time ago.
Now they’re finally in the ground, and we’re hopeful they’ll grow tall and strong in the years to come.
The eco garden received a good clean-up and is nearly ready for planting.
And because I can only hold out so long without growing something, I finally gave in and started sowing perennials, flowers, and some early spring veggies.
This weekend marks the beginning of our Self-Sufficiency Classes. I’m super excited to share our journey — the trials, the challenges, and the successes — of learning to grow and provide for ourselves.
Barn open Saturday 11–5
We are serving:
• Coffee & Cake
