Busy week with planting

This week has been all about hard work—walking, bending, digging, and hauling crates. The planting effort has been intense, but every day we’re making strides, and the end is finally in sight.

There’s a sense of accomplishment that comes with seeing the patch take shape, knowing the groundwork we’re laying now will pay off as the season progresses.

In the midst of all this, inspiration struck, as it so often does.

I’ve decided to transform an area that could have been rows of perennial flowers into something more meaningful—an eco garden. The beds are already cleared, and the next steps involve turning the soil and starting the landscaping.

One of our girls eagerly claimed her own bed, ready to make it her own little oasis.

The vision for this eco garden is exciting.

It will serve as a natural extension of our nearly finished accommodation and fireplace area, creating a space that ties together beauty, sustainability, and purpose.

Beyond aesthetics, the garden will also play a role in supporting the local ecosystem. With a variety of plants, I hope to attract more beneficial insects, fostering a thriving environment that complements our efforts in the patch.

Always creating, always growing!
