Having my mum still with us has been such a blessing!
So many little jobs that I usually struggle to get to are finally getting done.
She’s a dressmaker and has been spending a lot of time teaching our girls.
Some of their handmade items will be available at the barn.
We’ve finished strawing the strawberries this week—choosing straw instead of plastic to keep the berries off the ground.
We also managed to plant out the first round of veggies, all while continuing with more silage work!
This week’s homeschool group meeting was all about learning how to safely make open fires.
We ended the session by cooking pizza and pancakes over the fire—so much fun!
The greenhouse continues to fill with seedlings. The tomatoes are ready to go, and zucchinis and cucumbers won’t be far behind.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 20th! We’ll be in Colac for the Otway Harvest Trail Festival.
It’s going to be a big event, and you won’t want to miss it!
