Our Build Your Own Burger Patch to Plate dinner was fully booked out, and once again the Barn was filled with laughter, conversation and that special kind of atmosphere that only comes from sharing good food around long tables. Nights like these remind us why we started these dinners in the first place.
This week itself was a quieter one, without any major highlights, but sometimes those are the weeks where the most gets done.
We tackled a few jobs that had been sitting on the to-do list for a while, and with the milder temperatures, we were able to get back into the patch.
A few more seedlings went into the ground, plenty of weeding happened, and most of our time was spent simply caring for what’s already growing. It’s a slower rhythm, but an important one.
Our second Brunch at the Barn went well too, with some new faces walking through the door. It’s always lovely to see people discovering this little space for the first time and settling in for a relaxed morning.
