November is here, and we’re deep into planting, potting, pricking out, and continual sowing—it’d be handy to be everywhere at once!
We’re making good progress with capsicum, zucchini, and other summer crops, and we’ve even managed to get a few rows of pumpkins in.
As we plant, we’re setting up irrigation and mulching to keep the water flowing and the weeds at bay.
Life outside the garden is on hold with the patch needing all the attention right now.
One of our daughters recently wrapped up a six-week pottery class, organized by the shire for local youth. Held at an atelier in Camperdown, it gave her a wonderful opportunity to work with clay and try her hand at crafting.
We also made a big batch of elderflower cordial, now available at the Barn.
Seedlings are still available but won’t last long, so reach out if you’re interested!
Tomorrow, Saturday:
• Find us at the Barn from 11-5
• BIOLINK for plants will be at the Port Fairy Market on Saturday and the Birregurra Market on Sunday. Our seedlings and their fertilizer will be available.
At the Barn:
• Coffee and cake
• Cottage pie with creamy mashed potatoes
Have a great weekend
