School holidays have arrived, and it's a welcome break not just for the kids!
Being a homeschool mom can be very exhausting at times, and brain fog is a real thing.
The amazing dry conditions have allowed us to host backpackers, and we are blessed with two at the moment.
Their help has been invaluable, as they've tackled general garden maintenance, weeding, painting jobs, and more.
My long list of jobs is getting shorter, at least for the moment!
Hosting Backpackers means cooking lots of food!
Cooking for seven every night means spending more time in the kitchen, but I'm happy to prepare hearty meals for the amazing help we're getting.
Thankfully, I haven’t had the "can't be bothered to cook" feeling, so the pizzas are still in the freezer, available for you. We have Port Campbell’s Real Pizzas with a gluten-free option added, perfect for a quick and delicious meal at $16.50 each.
Barn Open Tomorrow
The barn will be open tomorrow from 11 AM to 4 PM.
We’ll be serving coffee, hot chocolate, cake, lentil veggie soup, and veggie soup.
If you can’t make it to the barn on Saturdays, just place an order the night before your preferred pickup day, and we’ll have it ready for you (veggies only). Direct deposit is available.
