Wrapping Up the Season & Looking Ahead

We’re nearly there with planting out the last of our winter veggies!
It’s been a big effort, and this week we managed to get a few more beds filled.
The garlic—lovingly hand watered for the past few weeks—has now been tucked in with a layer of pea straw. Some cloves are already poking their heads through, which is always an exciting sight.
While the week started off cool, it’s ending with some real warmth, so we’re still irrigating like it’s summer. The seasons may be shifting, but the weather hasn’t quite caught on yet!
A little milestone to share: our older daughter Gemma took part in a Barista course run by Corangamite Shire this week. We’re looking forward to seeing her put those new coffee-making skills into action!
